MAIL CALL came about because we were always wondering if the mail man had delivered the mail. Our mail box is across a busy road and we were making 2 or 3 trips a day to see if we had any mail, Or always looking for the mail man.
This became treacherous when it was snowing or raining. We needed something to let us know when the mail man had come. Hens MAIL CALL was invented in 1995.
We started with a prototype in metal but after a few months it be began to rust. Then we made one out of plastic with a stainless steel spring and it worked great.
A few of our friends saw it and asked what is was for, when we told them, they said that is was a great idea and wanted one for there mail box. As things go more and more people wanted our flag so we started to make them for sale. Since then people that have bought our MAIL CALL flag have come back an ordered them for there friends and relatives, and especially for there elderly parents.
